Job Description- position to provide clinical education and hands-on training for cardiac sonographers, students, and new hires
- Oversee protocol training, image/study supervision, review, competency assessments, skills development, and continuing education in TTE, TEE and stress echo
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and staff preparedness
- Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for new technologies, protocols, and procedures
- Assist with program development and partnerships with schools, externships, and outreach efforts
- Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies as needed to support team operations approximately 25-50% scanning of assigned patients. Expectations of scanning will vary according to number of sonographers in training.
- Must be flexible to accommodate needs of training, procedure type, procedure schedule, and lab volumes. Candidate must be available to work occasional evenings and/or weekend shift.
- Candidate must have working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and should be comfortable creating and maintaining these documents. Working knowledge of Epic workbench reporting and Power BI is a plus.
QualificationsRequired Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations
Certificates ACLS and BLS : Must be ARDMS RDCS with Adult Echocardiography (AE) OR CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). Advanced Cardiovascular Sonographer certification preferred
