Job Summary and QualificationsAt Henrico Doctors' Hospital, our Cardiac Rehab's top priority is ensuring our patients have efficient and effective recovery options. We offer heart rehab services led by a multidisciplinary care team that includes cardiac rehabilitation therapists who work with patients from diagnosis through recovery. In addition to participating in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge, you will also develop these skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient based on individual needs. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you!
- You will complete and document nursing plan of care (including nursing assessment, establishment of goals, initiating standards of care and outcomes management) on each patient
- Our nursing staff is expected to utilize telemetry monitoring system per policy and procedure and recognize and interpret arrhythmias
- You must be proficient in use of all equipment, including exercise, oxygen and oximetry
What qualifications you will need:- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
- One year experience as a staff nurse in Cardiopulmonary Rehab program or telemetry experience (preferred)
