Full Job Description
Responsibilities

Our Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists care for patients undergoing surgical procedures such as coronary artery bypass, valve repair or replacement, and aortic repair. They also provide care in the catheterization and electrophysiology labs for catheter-based interventions such as percutaneous valve repair or replacement, percutaneous closure of congenital defects (atrial septal defects), and closure of the left atrial appendage.

The Opportunity:
  • Join an established, collegial cardiac anesthesia team serving Northside Hospital Gwinnett, located within metro Atlanta
  • Diverse case mix but all cardiac focused
  • State-of-the-art operating rooms and procedural suites
  • Collaborative practice environment working alongside experienced anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesiologist assistants, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
  • Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship Program
  • Board certified/board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Board certified/board eligible in Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology
  • Current Georgia Medical licensure or ability to obtain an unrestricted Georgia license
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
