Capture Management Sr. Staff
Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
Leads sustainment capture efforts for Europe to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests.
Develops capture strategy including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities. Has responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit. Maintains ongoing interaction with program LOB.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sustainment capture efforts across the European region to secure new contracts, recompete opportunities, and task order business.
- Develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies that balance customer value, competitive positioning, and corporate business objectives.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including potential customers and market expansion areas.
- Conduct competitive assessments and market analysis to inform win strategies and positioning.
- Develop pricing strategies and price-to-win models to support competitive proposals.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage teaming partners and suppliers to strengthen capture solutions.
- Lead and integrate cross-functional capture teams, providing direction and oversight throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
- Coordinate and participate in bid and proposal development activities, including reviews and milestone deliverables.
- Maintain close collaboration and ongoing engagement with program Lines of Business (LOBs) to ensure alignment between capture efforts and program capabilities.
- Drive execution of capture plans to maximize win probability and ensure compliant, executable offerings.

Who You Are
You are a seasoned capture and business development professional with a strong track record of leading complex sustainment pursuits and winning competitive opportunities. You bring expertise in capture strategy, proposal execution, and cross-functional leadership, along with a solid understanding of the European defense and sustainment landscape. Analytical and strategic by nature, you excel at evaluating market conditions, competitive dynamics, and price-to-win strategies while building strong customer and partner relationships. A collaborative, results-driven leader, you align diverse teams, drive accountability, and deliver executable solutions that support customer needs and corporate growth objectives.
International travel will be required.
Desired skills
Previous business development/campaign experience in capture.
Experience in developing aircraft sustainment or logistics solutions.
Understanding of Pursuit & Capture process to include the Aeronautics & Corporate policies, New Business Funds planning, execution and monitoring.
Experience working with domestic & international, and civil & military high-ranking customers.
Familiar with Sustainment Operations.
Experience organizing and presenting briefings to senior Lockheed Martin Executives and customers individually and in group meetings.
AMMM/IFG/F35 program knowledge and expertise.
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
