Full Job Description
Capture Executive to join our Enterprise team. This is a remote position.

This highly visible position collaborates with the most senior leaders across MANTECH to develop a winning strategy and drive client engagement on the corporation's largest, most strategic opportunities. As a Capture Executive you will report directly to a Senior Capture Executive Team Lead as part of the Enterprise Capture Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the capture lead for strategic and priority opportunity pursuits including conducting rigorous deal assessments, preparation and execution of detailed and strategic capture plans, conducting win probability analysis, and lead development of client-focused and mission-oriented solutions.
  • Lead FEDSIM/AAS Delivery opportunities and/or complex capture and proposal submissions that require multi-phase submissions and oral presentations.
  • Plan and execute client and teaming contact and positioning in coordination with a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional capture team.
  • Understand market trends and translate client and competitive intelligence into compelling capture strategies and solutions.
  • Developing (with technical and SME support) solutions for assigned opportunities; managing relationships with partners and corporate staff for proposed solution development; participating in business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, operating plan development, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal reviews.
  • Establish and maintain competitive and client intelligence and rapport, understanding of client missions, budgets, and buying patterns for assigned capture opportunities working jointly with account business development executives.
  • Working knowledge of US Government contracting, contract types and procurement processes and must be team-oriented and demonstrate strong reasoning and communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Managing all the activities necessary to transform qualified opportunities into wins.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in growth, business development, and capture within the Federal Systems Integrator market. Military service and equivalent education are considered.
  • Proven track record of winning over $250 million in new business opportunities.
  • Expertise in developing and negotiating teaming agreements, as well as creating competitive pricing strategies.
  • Experience in leading and executing capture efforts for complex, high-end engineering challenges across various GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with a deep understanding of government contracting and acquisition processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior executives throughout the capture process.
  • Skill in rigorously evaluating opportunities based on strategic fit, win probability, and resource requirements.


Preferred Qualified:
  • Active Secret Clearance is preferred
  • Experience maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in a Salesforce-based growth system.
  • Ability to execute a sales lifecycle as defined by the Shipley Process.
  • Possess analytical presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Takes initiative and anticipates needs rather than waiting for instruction.
  • Adjusts strategy and approach quickly in response to changing market conditions, customer requirements, or competitive actions.
  • Possesses the ability to manage intricate details of capture plans while never losing sight of the overall strategic objectives.


Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Must be able to travel to client engagements, industry events, etc. as needed to execute the win strategy.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, senior leadership, and clients, which involves developing and delivering compelling presentations to senior executives. Must be able to concisely share accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $165,900.00-$297,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
