As a valued colleague on our team, you will leverage and continue to develop your skill set to support the Treasury Capital Markets Single-Family Pricing team. You will work with the team and management to establish pricing according to the associated risk of the asset.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Capital Markets Transaction Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Provide coverage across the Single-Family Pricing Desk through daily operational and transactional tasks and reporting.
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making within the Single-Family Treasury Capital Markets group.
  • Collaborate with various departments to analyze mortgage market trends, develop performance metrics, and help deliver insights and solutions that align with our mission.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance recurring and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate issues related to data latency, quality, and integrity.
  • Prepare professional, executive-ready presentations for internal and external audiences, including materials intended for senior leadership review and decision-making.
  • Independently manage scheduled and time-sensitive business needs while quickly learning new tools and concepts.
  • Measures of success include the timely and accurate delivery of analysis, reduction in reporting errors and manual effort, and clear upfront communication of findings to stakeholders.


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Demonstrated strong proprietary ownership, follow-through, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks while performing independently and reliably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven market environment.
  • Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.
  • Ability to produce timely reporting and ad hoc analysis, including aggregating data and responding to time-sensitive internal and external requests.
  • Capacity to assess data critically, identify anomalies, and creatively devise solutions to challenges and identify new opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to use data analysis tools to clearly communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the housing-finance ecosystem, including loan-origination processes, secondary mortgage markets, mortgage-backed securities, and underwriting standards is preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
  • Ability to maintain datasets, build dashboards, validate business data, and support the overall needs of the team.


Tools
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data reconciliation, and Power Query.
  • Exposure to VBA, Python, or R for analytics, reporting automation, statistical analysis, or workflow improvement.
  • Experience with, or interest in learning, query and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, as well as analytics development environments such as Visual Studio Code.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools and generative AI assistants (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT), with an interest in applying them to support coding, reporting, ad hoc analysis, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with database systems and data warehousing solutions for efficiently storing, retrieving, and managing large datasets
