Full Job Description
Reporting to the I&T CoE Product Management Team Lead, the Capital Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing Siemens Capital to meet BRP's electrical engineering needs.

This role focuses on the functional aspects of the platform, acting as a key point of contact for users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, key users, and system administrators to improve processes, support users, and ensure solution stability.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a good understanding of electrical design processes and PLM/ALM ecosystems.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for Siemens Capital users.
  • Provide day-to-day application support, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Investigate application logs and system behaviors to diagnose and resolve issues in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring prioritization and adherence to SLAs.
  • Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning, execution, and validation.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Work closely with system administrators to support configuration, deployment, and environment stability.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to key users and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Capital processes, governance, and tool usage.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Experience with Siemens Capital (or similar electrical design / harness engineering tools).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate issues using logs and system data.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications in a functional analyst or similar role.
  • Familiarity with electrical/electronic system design processes is an asset.
  • Understanding of UAT processes, test case creation, and validation cycles.
  • Knowledge of PLM/ALM systems such as Teamcenter or Polarion is a strong asset.
  • Ability to document processes, write clear procedures, and train users.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a functional analyst, application support, or similar role.
  • Experience with enterprise systems, ideally within engineering or manufacturing environments.
