Job Description

We're looking for a Canada National Account Manager, Sales Development to join our sales team based in Milpitas, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic national accounts in the Canadian market while driving sales development initiatives. You will serve as a key liaison between our organization and our most valued Canadian clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned national accounts in Canada, identifying growth opportunities and expansion potential
  • Manage the full sales cycle for enterprise-level accounts, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at national accounts
  • Analyze customer needs and customize solutions that align with their business objectives
  • Forecast sales pipeline activity and provide accurate reporting on account status, revenue projections, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams including product, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless account onboarding and retention
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue expansion
  • Participate in sales development activities including training, process improvement, and best practice sharing
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform account strategy and positioning
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular updates to management


Qualifications

Required:
  • 8+ years of experience in national or enterprise account management, preferably in a strategic or consultative sales environment
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale accounts and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of sales development processes, pipeline management, and account-based selling methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools for data-driven decision making
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop customized, strategic solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, customer success)
  • Expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and comprehensive performance reporting
  • Fluency in English; French language proficiency is a strong asset for the Canadian market

Preferred:
  • Established experience managing accounts in the Canadian market or with Canadian-based organizations
  • Background in multi-channel, consultative, or solution-based sales approaches
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing junior sales professionals
  • Knowledge of industry-specific sales processes, vertical markets, or enterprise solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in account-based marketing (ABM) or strategic account planning methodologies
  • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in regulated or highly competitive industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
