Full Job Description
REPORT TO: Executive Director

FLSA: Exempt

BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION:

The Campus President leads campus operations, financial performance, student experience, and community engagement while strengthening Southeastern College's local presence and results.
  • Lead campus operations and accountability across key departments
  • Manage budget performance, profitability, and business goals
  • Support educational quality, student success, and community partnerships
  • Lead a cross-functional team that may include Admissions, Financial Aid, Academics, Student Services, Continuing Education, Bursar, and Book Store leaders


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage and Oversee the Campus:

Lead daily campus operations across admissions, financial aid, bursar, academics, registrar, and student services to support strong outcomes and service.

Manage the campus budget, profitability, purchasing, and resource allocation.

Manage Facility/Logistics:

Oversee facilities, technology, equipment, supplies, purchasing, and billing to support efficient daily operations.

Enforce Policy/Regulations:

Ensure compliance with college policies, regulations, licensing, accreditation, and audit requirements.

Manage Human Resources:

Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and key HR decisions in partnership with senior leadership.

Oversee and Approve Payroll:

Oversee payroll approvals to support accuracy and timely processing.

Review Campus Metrics and Report Upward:

Track campus performance, manage to plan, and provide key updates and reporting to senior leadership.

Monitor and Review Campus Processes:
  • Oversee admissions, enrollment, and student status processes
  • Monitor starts, retention, and student success metrics
  • Lead student success and retention efforts


Manage and Develop Staff:
  • Develop faculty and staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results
  • Lead meetings, reviews, and one-on-one development with leaders


Develop and Monitor Academic Programs:
  • Monitor program quality, outcomes, profitability, and sustainability
  • Assess market needs and support new program development
  • Partner on approvals, resources, and accreditation requirements

Deal with Student Issues/Concerns:
  • Support a positive student experience from orientation through completion
  • Address escalated student and parent concerns
  • Make final decisions on dismissals and re-entries


Reach Out to the Community:
  • Build relationships with community and industry partners
  • Represent the campus at local events and business functions
  • Engage advisory boards to support program and market alignment


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands are those required in a professional office setting: sitting, working on a computer, using a telephone, communicating with coworkers and getting to and from appropriate campuses.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Professional office setting: moderate noise levels and controlled indoor climate.

LOCATION:

This position is an onsite position located at your campus unless otherwise determined by the Chancellor and/or designee. Any changes must be reviewed by the Campus President and all final approvals must come from the Chancellor and/or designee.
