Campus Executive Chef

We're now offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for all new employees hired into this role between June 9, 2026- September 1, 2026.

(50% paid after 90 days of employment, 50% paid after 12 months of employment)

Position Overview

The Campus Executive Chef is the heart of the culinary culture across the account. In close partnership with the Key Account Manager, this leader brings the client vision to life and champions a shared commitment to excellence that supports the client's broader business goals.

This role goes beyond food. It is about creating meaningful workplace dining experiences that foster connection, inspire engagement, and reflect the unique culture of the client. Through chef driven programs, thoughtful allergen management, scalable solutions, disciplined budget stewardship, and bold creativity, the Campus Executive Chef ensures every detail reflects both culinary artistry and operational excellence.

As a highly visible and hands on leader, you will build and nurture a strong culinary community of executive chefs, sous chefs, and culinarians. Success comes from developing people, cultivating trust, and creating an environment where accountability and collaboration thrive. Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Key Account Manager, General Manager, and client stakeholders to align culinary vision with operational execution, ensuring the dining program supports the client culture and business goals
  • Inspire and lead a high performing culinary team by modeling professionalism, creativity, accountability, and deep respect for the craft
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top culinary talent while building a strong leadership bench and clear growth pathways
  • Ensure all Guckenheimer and client guidelines, policies, Core Program Expectations, and culinary quality standards are executed consistently across every café
  • Oversee menu management systems to ensure accuracy, recipe integrity, functionality, and data accuracy across locations
  • Facilitate regular culinary leadership meetings that promote collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Champion hands on culinary training and development to elevate skill, execution, allergen management, food safety, and overall program scalability
  • Drive compliance with Procurement Integrity Index standards, financial targets, and key performance indicators while balancing creativity with disciplined cost stewardship
  • Maintain a strong and visible presence on the floor, coaching in real time, inspiring teams, protecting the integrity of the craft, and leading with pride and professionalism
  • Execute and expand innovative culinary initiatives aligned with client strategy and evolving workplace trends


Food and Workplace Safety

  • Partner with operational leadership to embed food safety and workplace safety into daily operations
  • Maintain organized and impeccably clean kitchens that create a safe environment for employees and guests

  • Execute Allergen Control Plan requirements with precision and care
  • Validate accurate product labeling including clear allergen identification

Physical Requirements

This is a hands on leadership role rooted in the rhythm, energy, and pride of the kitchen.

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $114900.00 - $130000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
