Givens Estates is looking to hire a Campus Executive Chef to our growing culinary team! The Campus Executive Chef is responsible for staff training and development, menu planning, recipe innovation, and operational consistency across multiple units. This position provides leadership and oversight for all culinary operations across the Givens Estates campus, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing.
Our Independent Living venues include a European market style venue called Market and Craft, an elevated dining venue named Terrene, and a cafe structured as a test pilot kitchen named Social Brew.
What you'll do:
• Oversee all culinary operations across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing venues
• Develop and implement campus-wide menus that meet nutritional standards, therapeutic diet requirements, and resident preferences
• Manage departmental budgets across all areas of culinary
• Establish and enforce performance standards, including personal hygiene, uniform compliance, and adherence to organizational policies
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and resident satisfaction in all service areas
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate culinary staff at all levels
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
• 7+ years' experience in multi-unit hospitality culinary services, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
• Culinary degree preferred
• ServSafe Manager Certification or equivalent required
• Experience with adult learning- including teaching, training, precepting, coaching, etc.
• Demonstrated success in staff leadership, menu planning and compliance with dietary regulations
• Must have valid NC Drive License with clear driving record for use of facility vehicle
Compensation is $90,000 - $95,000 per year based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package
