Full Job Description
Campus Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hyperscale Campus Director to oversee the strategic planning, development, and operations of a large-scale data center campus with 8 buildings. This individual will be a member of the account's leadership team and requires someone with experience in hyperscale operations, campus-wide infrastructure management, and greenfield construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive oversight for hyperscale campus developments ranging from 500MW to 1GW+ capacity
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for campus expansion and optimization
  • Lead master planning initiatives for multi-phase campus buildouts spanning 100+ acres
  • Drive innovation in campus design to meet evolving hyperscale customer requirements
  • Establish campus-wide operational excellence standards and performance metrics
  • Manage an expanded team of up to 300 dedicated FTE, including partnership with HR on talent cycle planning, recruiting, and employee development
  • Ensure SLA compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with local municipalities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies for large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Manage relationships with general contractors, design firms, and specialty consultants as necessary during construction of greenfield facilities
  • Oversee construction schedules for concurrent multi-building development programs while ensuring construction standards and deployment timelines are met
  • Develop and manage campus budgets including campus-level P&L responsibility and performance metrics
  • Foster collaborative relationships across corporate functions and regional teams


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in data center operations, development, or critical infrastructure
  • 5+ years of direct experience working with hyperscale or cloud providers
  • Proven track record managing large-scale real estate development projects ($500M+)
  • Experience in executive-level client relationship management
  • Deep understanding of hyperscale business models, technical requirements, and operational standards
  • Extensive knowledge of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, networking, and security systems
  • Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams (50+ direct and indirect reports)
  • Crisis management and problem-solving capabilities in high-stakes environments
