Full Job Description
Location: Remote

Travel: Some travel to collegiate institutions, campus events, industry events, customer meetings, and company meetings. Some overnight travel may be required.-25%

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $75,000-100,000 plus the opportunity for a bonus.

The base salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Campus Connection Manager is responsible for expanding BSN SPORTS' presence beyond collegiate varsity athletics by developing relationships and generating new business across collegiate campus departments, student organizations, and institutional purchasing groups.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Build direct relationships with decision-makers across collegiate departments, academic units, student organizations, and institutional purchasing teams.
  • Partner with BSN sales professionals, athletic department staff, licensing contacts, and other established stakeholders to secure introductions Across Campus.
  • Develop, manage, and advance a qualified pipeline of new Across Campus business opportunities, including complete follow-through of leads generated by BSN Collegiate Marketing team.
  • Prospect and engage buyers within Student Life, Admissions, Facilities, Dining Services, Campus Safety, Recreation Sports, Professional Programs, individual colleges, and academic departments.
  • Promote and activate MTS, campus event shops, collegiate club sports department shops, and other campus-wide purchasing solutions that fit the needs of the Across Campus customer base.
  • Create structured account-development plans for assigned institutions, including priority departments, target contacts, opportunity stages, next actions, and revenue potential.
  • Use CRM tools to document customer relationships, prospecting activity, pipeline movement, opportunities, and account-development progress.
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted email campaigns, contact acquisition, social outreach, lead-generation programs, and buyer education.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, brand partners, operations, customer service, and technology teams to support successful programs that can be executed by hundreds of sales professionals.
  • Provide ongoing support to campus customers and develop opportunities for repeat purchasing, departmental expansion, and broader institutional adoption.
  • Maintain clear communication with Collegiate Select leadership and field partners regarding activity, opportunities, risks, and account progress.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong prospecting, relationship-development, and consultative-selling skills.
  • Ability to build credibility with senior administrators, procurement professionals, department leaders, student-facing professionals, and student organization representatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business within complex organizations involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational and territory-planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple institutions, departments, contacts, and opportunities simultaneously.


Success Indicators
  • New campus relationships and qualified contacts developed; qualified pipeline created and advanced; assigned institutions actively engaged and penetrated; new departments and campus organizations converted; MTS+, shop, rec sports, event, and brand programs activated; incremental Across Campus NSE generated; repeat purchasing and expansion within converted institutions; CRM accuracy, activity discipline, and account-plan execution.


Education, Certification and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in business development, outside sales, account management, collegiate athletics, higher education, promotional products, sporting goods, procurement, or a related field.
  • Experience selling into colleges, universities, complex institutions, or multi-department organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing new business through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
  • Experience with branded merchandise, apparel, equipment, e-commerce shops, procurement solutions, or licensing is preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, appropriate automobile insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
