Full Job Description
Williams College is seeking a Campaign Manager to join the Office of College Relations (OCR). In this role, you will serve as the administrative and operational lead on our most ambitious fundraising initiatives, including our emerging student experience campaign. You will act as a central hub, supporting development leadership and connecting with high-level volunteers and cross-departmental teams to ensure our fundraising efforts stay on schedule and meet the quality standards required to achieve our goals. Strong candidates will have high-level project management experience, have demonstrated strong internal and external communication skills, and thrive on turning broad strategies into actionable, high-impact workflows.

Responsibilities

As the Campaign Manager, you have the opportunity to directly impact the future of the Williams community by providing the critical infrastructure required to execute high-performing, multi-year fundraising campaigns. Your work ensures that our most committed donors and volunteers feel supported and engaged.
  • Campaign Project Management: You will manage the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of major initiatives, utilizing project management tools to track tasks, communications, and fundraising milestones.
  • Strategic Operations: You will move beyond routine tasks to actively design and refine operational workflows, translating broad campaign strategies into functional processes within our constituent relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Volunteer & Executive Coordination: You will provide executive support to the AVP for College Relations by managing development activities, travel, and on-campus engagements and coordinating volunteer committees. Key administrative duties include ensuring follow-through on action items, processing invoices and reconciling expense reports, planning meetings, and maintaining and organizing digital files.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will liaise with Advancement Operations to ensure data integrity and coordinate with Development Communications to track the production and curation of marketing collateral and solicitation materials.
  • Data & Insight:You will help produce campaign progress reports and dashboards for leadership, ensuring accurate reporting of campaign totals and pledge fulfillment.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's d egree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse assignments/projects simultaneously and meet complex goals.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to respond diplomatically to diverse constituencies and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficie ncy in assessing and translating data to address complex challenges.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience working within Slate CRM or similar advancement databases is highly preferred.
  • Experience in high-level project management within a higher education or non-profit fundraising environment.

  • Application Review: Application review will begin on June 24, 2026. Pay range is from $82,500 to $92,500, commensurate with experience.

Remote Work Policy: Hybrid on-site/remote work arrangements may be available for up to 2 days of remote work per week for employees based in MA, NY, CT, or VT, following a fully in-person onboarding period. This position requires a majority physical presence on campus with a minimum of 3 days per week of on-campus, in-person work. Remote work arrangements are subject to review and revision as policy evolves.
