Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of programming experience in Python or Matlab and experience using AI agents to create/debug prototype code.
- 2 years of experience in hardware development in high-volume consumer electronics.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with using AI agents to quickly create/debug prototype code.
- Comfortable with standard EE lab equipment (O-scope, VNA, multi-meter, power supply, signal generator) and experience with lab automation.
- Demonstrated team work with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
Responsibilities- Derive a reasonable system architecture for system resources, power efficiency, and provide hardware hooks to support camera features.
- Determine component-level requirements and develop schematics for camera modules containing image sensors, microcontrollers, AF/OIS drivers, and high-speed interfaces (MIPI, I3C/I2C, SPI), and design hardware to enable testing and future technology innovation.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB/Flex layout supervision, and simulations to meet high-speed signal integrity and low-noise power supply requirements.
- Conduct system-level bring-up, validation, and debugging, document and present validation data.
- Support hardware prototyping and validation for new imaging technologies.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
