The Job
The Department of Public Health, California Children's Services (CCS) is seeking a CCS Program Coordinator* to assist the Program Manager in providing coordination and oversight of CCS programs and initiatives including countywide program operations and service delivery. Duties include facilitate and monitor program budgets and objectives; supervise and direct staff; evaluate staffing and service delivery for effectiveness and efficiency; make recommendations regarding staffing issues, caseload management, and program policy. May be responsible for project or program management.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet both of the following requirements:
EDUCATION: A Bachelor's degree in public, business or health administration; accounting; nursing; social work; epidemiology; health science; or a closely related field.
-AND-
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of full-time equivalent professional, administrative experience (e.g. facilitate and monitor program objectives and budget, research and data analytics for project needs including overall project evaluation, compliance activities) and leadership in a public health program, community health organization, social service organization, or closely related agency. Administrative experience must include program operations.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor's or master's degree and additional experience in program planning/development, development of standard practices and policies, administration, and budgeting.
