Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, automotive, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of hands-on ICE calibration experience at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Proficiency with calibration tool software such as ETAS INCA or ATI VISION.
• Ability to interpret MATLAB Simulink controls algorithms or C-based software documentation.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid knowledge of ICE system operations and common powertrain sensors and actuators.
• Effective intrapersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out calibration development using dynamometer or vehicle-based methods.
• Analyze test results and develop actions for improving gasoline engine control systems.
• Conduct in-vehicle calibration evaluations and assess gasoline engine performance.
• Perform climate-specific development testing to meet customer specifications.
• Calibrate components related to ICE functions including throttle control and emissions subsystems.
• Contribute positively to project teams with technical expertise.
