Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience using GT-suite for 1D CAE applications.
  • At least 1 year of experience with CAE tools such as Amesim and Matlab/Simulink.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on Powertrain performance.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Support development activities for Auto Powertrains.
  • Perform dynamic/static analysis and thermal flow dynamics using CAE tools.
  • Interpret data to develop and report solutions for Powertrain efficiency and safety.
  • Correlate analyses with real-world test data.
  • Develop methods to enhance modeling and analysis efficiency.
  • Communicate issues to ensure project goals are met.
  • Resolve problems with varying levels of guidance.
  • Utilize Excel for project scheduling and updates.
  • Occasional travel to client locations in the U.S. (5% of the time).
  • Telecommuting option available, but candidate must reside in Ohio.

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Support CAE development activities for Auto Powertrains.
  • Responsible for dynamic &/or static, linear &/or nonlinear analysis, thermal analysis, flow dynamics & 1D simulation utilizing CAE tools (GT-suite, Amesim, Matlab/Simulink, etc.).
  • Interpret data, development & report countermeasures for Powertrain performance, safety & efficiency.
  • Opt & correlate analyses w/real world test results.
  • Dev & opt CAE methods for improving modeling & analysis efficiency.
  • Comm about issues & to accomplish goals.
  • Analyze & resolve problems w/mod level of guid & direction.
  • Utilize Excel to create & update project schedules.
  • Travel to client sites.
  • Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout U.S.-5% domestic travel.
  • Telecommuting option - employee must live in OH

Qualifications:
