In this role, you will design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by cross-functional teams in the design of hardware products, process design, and manufacturing. You will play a critical role in enabling engineering productivity by building robust, scalable, and efficient automation solutions that support the full hardware design lifecycle.
About the Role
We are looking for a talentedCAD/EDA Tools Automation Engineerto join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and debug software tools, workflows, and methodologies that power our design automation processes. Your work will directly support hardware product design, process design, and manufacturing teams.
- Gather and document user stories and technical requirements.
- Write clean, efficient functional and test code.
- Automate build and deployment pipelines.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools.
- Develop and maintain scalable workflows and design automation solutions.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM related field(degree must be completed by start date)
- 6+ months of experiencewith:
- Programming and scripting languages such asPython, Tcl, or C++
- Working inLinux environments
- Version control systemsandEDA tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM related field
- Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Large Language Models.
- 12+ months of experiencewith:
- Industry-standard EDA tools such asCadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, or Siemens Calibrefor physical design, place and route scripting, and DRC verification
- Buildingjob management toolson distributed computing systems
- Process automationusing workflows, templates, and standardized methodologies
- CAD software administrationand deployment

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $111,030.00-211,200.00 USD
