Job Details:Job Description:Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation environments.
- Capture user stories and requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Write both functional and test code to ensure high-quality, maintainable software deliverables.
- Automate build and deployment pipelines to streamline tool delivery and updates.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools to validate functionality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation frameworks to support physical design, place and route, and DRC verification workflows.
- Collaborate with hardware design, process design, and manufacturing teams to identify automation opportunities and improve design methodologies.
- Support the administration, deployment, and maintenance of CAD software and EDA tool infrastructure.
- Develop job management tools on distributed computing systems to optimize resource utilization and workflow efficiency.
- Standardize and document processes through workflows, templates, and reusable automation components.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development best practices.
Qualifications:The Minimum qualifications listed below are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Candidates must have the required degree by the date of hire.
Minimum Qualifications- Master of Science degree, in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related STEM field.
- 6+ months of experience in the following:
- Solid programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
- Experience working on Linux environments, version management systems and EDA Tools.
Preferred qualifications- Ph.D. degree, in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related STEM field.
- 12+ months of experience in the following:
- Industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, Siemens Calibre for use in physical design, place and route scripts, and DRC verification.
- Development of job management tools on distributed computing systems.
- Automate processes whether standardized through workflows, templates, and other means.
- Knowledge of CAD software administration and deployment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $111,030.00-211,200.00 USD
