Full Job Description
The CAD BIM Director is responsible for leading the Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) department, ensuring the successful implementation and management of BIM processes across all projects. This role oversees the development of BIM standards, workflows, and technology integration to improve efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration within the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain company-wide BIM and CAD standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Lead and manage the CAD/BIM team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee BIM execution plans for projects and ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to integrate BIM into project workflows.
  • Manage software licenses, update, and ensure proper utilization of BIM tools.
  • Coordinate clash detection and model reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Drive innovation in digital construction technologies and workflows.
  • Prepare and present BIM progress reports to senior leadership and clients.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within BIM models and associated documentation.
  • Support preconstruction and estimating teams with accurate model-based quantity takeoffs.
