WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and encourage a team of buyers within an exceptionally innovative and collaborative environment. You will be at the forefront of maintaining world-class standards in our supply chain operations and ensuring a flawless procurement process.
Supporting the team by understanding their challenges, identifying problem areas, and facilitating cross-functional communication.
Reviewing shifts in demand and supporting the analytical needs of the buyers.
Maintaining data integrity in ERP systems, including safety stocks and purchase order dates.
Holding cross-functional meetings to address supply disruptions and updating ERP systems from the PFEP stocking recommendation tool.
Driving benchmarks for cash, stockouts, and other operational metrics.
Monitoring and assessing supply disruption risks, and communicating these to leadership and collaborators.
Managing the availability of inventory to satisfy production and customer needs.
Identifying, developing, and implementing improvements across the procure-to-pay process.
Evaluating team member performance and aligning individual goals with organizational central initiatives.
YOU HAVE:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in supply chain management who can successfully carry out critical initiatives and improve team performance.
A Bachelor's Degree.
At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferred.
A minimum of 1+ years of supervisory experience, preferred.
Strong communication skills, an analytical approach, and a self-starter attitude.
Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$76,000.00 - $141,100.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
