Full Job Description
Main purpose of the Buyer role:

We're looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Men's Buyer to join our RevolveMan team. In this role, you'll own the buying strategy for multiple consumer segments, building an assortment that balances trend, brand mix, and financial performance. You'll partner closely with planning, marketing, and site merchandising to ensure the right product, in the right quantities, reaches our customer at the right time.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Position responsibilities and daily tasks:
  • Develop and execute seasonal buying strategies for assigned men's categories, aligned with brand positioning and customer demand
  • Analyze sales trends, sell-through, and inventory data to make informed buying, reorder, and markdown decisions
  • Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines
  • Attend market appointments, trade shows, and brand showrooms to identify new products and emerging brands
  • Partner with planning teams to develop buy strategies, sales forecasts, and inventory plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, site merchandising, and creative teams to bring the assortment to life across digital channels
  • Monitor competitor landscape and emerging trends to keep the assortment ahead of the curve
  • Manage the end-to-end buying process, including PO creation, delivery tracking, and in-season adjustments
  • Travel domestically for market trips and vendor meetings as needed

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
  • A sharp eye for trend, brand positioning, and customer aesthetic
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with retail math (margin, markup, sell-through, turn)
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable buying decisions
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of buying experience, ideally in men's apparel/footwear/accessories at a retailer or e-commerce company

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience buying for a digitally native or fast-growing fashion brand
  • Existing relationships with men's contemporary/streetwear/lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with retail buying/planning systems

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary rate is $80,000- $85,000 per year.
