This role requires associates to work out of a MVH North America hub location - New York, NY | Vancouver, WA | Santa Monica, CA | Tampa, FL Why This Role Matters: Responsible for the procurement and acquisition of goods and services that deliver short-term procurement value and work to enhance processes and drive efficiency. Consult and advise business units or functions on the acquisition of goods and services of basic to moderate complexity across one or multiple categories.
Ensure the Practice has an uninterrupted supply of goods, services and equipment at the lowest overall demonstrated cost and to develop, foster and maintain effective communication and relationships with all internal and external customers. Participates in the development, implementation, managing and monitoring of world class supply network practices ensuring the best value to the organization.

You Will: - Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships across MVH Commercial and business unit stakeholders and suppliers to support procurement objectives including but not limited to prioritization, contract renewals, catalog management, benchmarking and industry research to achieve defined business goals.
- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, supplier communications, returns, product recalls, and issue resolution.
- Prepare purchase orders through purchasing system, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with existing policies and procedures.
- Compare supplier quotes against specifications, pricing, and availability requirements to support purchasing decisions.
- Support hospitals and business units by sourcing routine and low-to-moderate complexity goods and services.
- Review contract pipeline and assigned catalogs, coordinating with business units and Sourcing on upcoming renewals and procurement needs.
- Manage and maintain assigned procurement catalogs, ensuring accurate item data, pricing, supplier information, and alignment with organizational purchasing requirements.
- Perform spend analysis, market research, supplier evaluations, and benchmark activities to support Sourcing decisions.
- Assist with contract negotiations, bids, RFIs, RFQs, and supplier selection activities.
- Interpret contract provisions, conduct research, evaluate findings, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Partner across MVH Commercial for item and service implementation, supplier enablement, and commodity assignment.
- Participate in purchasing process improvement initiatives and recommend efficient procurement methods (formal and informal bid processes, purchase orders, disbursements, procurement cards, etc.).
- Support implementation activities for assigned commodities and maintain effective supplier and business relationships.
- Maintain procurement records, purchasing documentation, and supplier information.

Your Experience Should Include: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or other business field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Years of Experience Required: 3 years of experience required relevant professional experience with understanding of the purchasing cycle & buying process required.
- Preferred knowledge of purchasing regulations, legal compliance, policies and procedures is required with demonstrated advanced negotiations, contract and sourcing skills preferred.
- Required ability to understand and interpret key financial statements and components of ROTA.
- Preferred ISM certification and understanding preferred.
Salary range: $71,456.00 - $111,650.00
Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
