Full Job Description
Eaton's Power Delivery and Regulation Division is currently seeking a Buyer. This role is located out of Nacogdoches, TX. Relocation assistance will be provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.

The Buyer will be responsible for releasing and delivering purchase orders for raw materials and production support activities on time. This role will be responsible for resolving any procurement, quality, invoice, and inventory-related issues, including appropriate SAP/ERP transactions.

This position will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and interface with customer service, internal and external suppliers, product engineering, accounts payable, and production to ensure a high level of support to satisfy the customer.

What you'll do:
• Performs, leads, and coordinates activities in procuring goods and services and maintaining procurement records.
• Work with suppliers to improve performance, such as driving on-time deliveries and discussing nonconforming goods and services with inspection or Q.A. personnel, users, and vendors.
• Determines source of material issues and initiates remedial action.
• Cooperates and coordinates with production and engineering to determine the feasibility and advisability of contracting to outsource subassembly parts.
• Issues written and verbal instructions.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality and suggests work procedures and conditions changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
