Full Job Description
Wolfgang Confectioners is seeking an experienced Business Unit Manager to help lead our Camp Hill production facility. This role is critical in supporting our company's growth objectives while achieving plant production, quality, and cost goals and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lean daily management including shift hand off oversight, safety and quality oversight and defect handling, CL and CIM accountability with leadership. - Ensure full compliance with all food-safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, OSHA). - Proficiency with ERP system and other software to ensure efficiency and KPI performance. - Continuous consideration of processes, procedures or other efficiencies to lead improvement. - Work with appropriate internal teams to assist with employee training, development and anticipated labor needs. - Assigned to and assists in developing corrective actions for internal nonconformances and customer complaints. - Ensures shift schedule and labor adherence. Requirements - BS in a Technical field, Business Administration or at least five years of manufacturing managerial experience, or suitable combination. - LEAN Certification and Six Sigma (Green Belt) desired, but we are willing to train. - Proficiency in Office products and experience as a SuperAdmin/SuperUser in an ERP environment. - Safety certifications are a plus. - Confectionery experience is desired but not required. - Proven leadership and supervisory experience. - Ability to work flexible hours. - Must be able to work in varying temperatures consistent with a food plant.
