About the Role
As the Business Transformation Manager, you'll help shape the future of the organization by identifying and advancing opportunities that transform how we operate, serve customers, and create value. You'll connect business strategy with emerging technology, AI, and innovative operating models to design and implement solutions that drive growth, scalability, and competitive advantage. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader who enjoys turning big ideas into actionable strategies and leading transformational initiatives from concept through measurable business impact.

General Summary of Position

The Business Transformation Manager is responsible for identifying and advancing opportunities that fundamentally change how the organization operates, serves customers, and creates value. This position focuses on designing future-state business capabilities enabled through technology, artificial intelligence, operating model innovation, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role serves as a bridge between business strategy and execution, helping the organization evaluate, prioritize, and implement transformative opportunities that shape future growth, scalability, competitiveness, and customer experience.

The successful candidate combines strategic thinking, technology acumen, business insight, and execution leadership to guide opportunities from concept through implementation and realization of business value.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to identify and prioritize enterprise transformation opportunities that require new business capabilities, operating models, technologies, governance structures, or ways of working to support long-term growth and competitive advantage.
  • Design future-state business and operating models by defining organizational capabilities, technology ecosystems, governance frameworks, business outcomes, and success measures, and translating strategic opportunities into actionable transformation roadmaps, investment recommendations, and business cases.
  • Drive AI strategy and intelligent enterprise transformation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI agents, copilots, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to create new capabilities and fundamentally reimagine how work is performed across the organization.
  • Partner with technology leaders to shape enterprise technology and AI strategies including governance and adoption frameworks, investment priorities, technology roadmaps, build-versus-buy decisions, vendor partnerships, and implementation approaches.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and market developments to identify opportunities that enhance customer experience, improve business performance, increase scalability, or strengthen the company's competitive position, assessing opportunities based on value, readiness, impact, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional enterprise transformation initiatives by establishing objectives, governance structures, executive decision frameworks, and success metrics; facilitating leadership alignment; and identifying and resolving organizational barriers to successful execution.
  • Provide executive oversight and visibility into the transformation portfolio by monitoring strategic alignment, progress, risks, opportunities, investment priorities, and expected value realization to ensure initiatives remain aligned with enterprise strategy and long-term business objectives

AI Capability Expectations

AI capability is a core expectation of this role.

The successful candidate should be an active practitioner of generative AI and possess a strong understanding of how AI is reshaping customer experiences, operating models, decision-making, and business value creation.

This includes the ability to:

  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, ideation, research, and decision-making.
  • Recognize opportunities for AI-enabled business transformation.
  • Understand the role of agents, copilots, intelligent automation, and emerging AI technologies.
