Position Description:

Are you looking to make an impact by joining a growing, dynamic team supporting a large Government Agency? CGI Federal is seeking an experienced leader to drive Data and AI transformation initiatives, including leading the DoS StateInsight program, partnering directly with clients to co create innovative, mission focused solutions. In this role, you will bring together data, analytics, and advanced AI to transform how our clients conduct business, connecting back office operations with mission performance to enable smarter, return on investment driven decision making. You will champion the continued growth and business development of Data and AI capabilities across the Department of State and the broader federal government space, identifying new opportunities to expand impact and value for clients. You will be part of the overall leadership team, providing expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and CGI members.

This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Provide leadership and vision in driving the direction and strategy of technical and business innovation work (Data Analytics, AI/Automation, Cloud Applications, Financial Reporting) across the Department of State and the broader federal government.
. Identify, shape, and lead client facing innovation initiatives that translate emerging technology capabilities into tangible mission outcomes.
. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, based on collaboration, trust, and partnership, including in person meetings with clients at their government sites in Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia.
. Partner directly with client stakeholders to co create solutions that leverage data, analytics, automation, and advanced AI to solve mission critical business challenges.
. Lead the StateInsight program, serving as the primary driver of innovation and transformation strategy across multiple bureaus supported by the initiative.
. Champion the integration of back office operational data with mission performance data within StateInsight to enable data informed, ROI driven decision making across the client organization.
. Manage the overall success of a business transformation focused team supporting StateInsight, including task management, collaboration with other program leads, and coordination across government stakeholder areas and bureaus.
. Lead a team of professionals toward achieving customer, business, and member development goals.
. Manage program and project level scope, issues, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery of StateInsight initiatives.
. Build strong consulting skills and relevant domain knowledge within your team to strengthen client connection and impact.
. Provide status updates regarding program health and transformation outcomes to clients and key stakeholders, both externally and internal to CGI.
. Ensure contractual requirements are met while continuing to expand the scope and value of the StateInsight program.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of professional experience consulting, business transformation, or related fields, with a proven track record in delivering client facing innovation and data driven solutions.
. Strong people management experience, with a track record of leading, empowering, and developing high performing teams.
. Demonstrated experience leveraging data, analytics, automation, and AI to drive measurable business or mission outcomes.
. Project management experience with a successful delivery track record.
. Strong decision making, judgment, and analytical skills.
. Experience with client engagement management and relationship building, including co creation of solutions with client stakeholders.
. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
. Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated emotional intelligence; ability to juggle numerous client stakeholders, delivery, and business development activities.
. Able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Experience supporting the U.S. Department of State, particularly CGFS or multi bureau data initiatives.
. Experience with Palantir Foundry Cloud Services or comparable data analytics/collaboration platforms.
. Experience integrating back office and mission performance data to inform ROI based decision making.
. Technical leadership in Data Analytics, Automation, and Advanced AI.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113,400.00 $245,500.00.
