You will work with internal technology, operations, and product partners, as well as external network contacts, to assess change impacts, coordinate testing, resolve issues, and help maintain reliable payment processing services across Fiserv platforms.

What you'll do:
  • Review and interpret debit, EBT, and fleet network release documentation, bulletin requests, technical specifications, and testing requirements to determine business impacts and required actions.
  • Create, review, and execute end-to-end test scripts aligned to release mandates, certification needs, and project scope to validate expected outcomes across impacted payment processing workflows.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify operational risks, document system impacts, and support readiness activities related to network rule changes and release requirements.
  • Coordinate with external card brands, debit networks, and internal stakeholders to secure test windows, manage testing activities, and drive issue resolution through completion.
  • Analyze test results, document defects, communicate testing readiness and risk status, and support rapid triage, root cause identification, and resolution for production-impacting issues.
  • Maintain testing support documentation, functionality matrices, escalation contacts, and related certification artifacts to support ongoing operational readiness.
  • Collaborate across multiple processing platforms to resolve common issues, improve testing effectiveness, and support long-term prevention of repeat issues.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of experience in payment processing, including debit/credit network, Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), or fleet card testing for client implementations, merchant projects, or industry release mandates.
  • 5+ years of experience creating, reviewing, and executing test scripts for end-to-end testing, validation, and certification activities aligned to project requirements and service level agreements.
  • 5+ years of experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating high-risk or critical issues during pre-release and post-release testing activities.
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing test outcomes, communicating risks and readiness to leadership and external partners, and driving incident resolution through triage and root cause analysis.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables, to sort, filter, reconcile, and analyze testing and production support data.
  • Experience using mainframe tools and business applications such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat PDF, and DocuSign to support documentation, analysis, and operational coordination.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems, technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting spring and fall network release mandates and related certification timelines.
  • Experience working directly with debit networks, card brands, Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) providers, or fleet card partners to coordinate testing activities.
  • Experience supporting escalated production issues in a payment processing environment.
  • Experience working across multiple Fiserv platforms and internal partner groups.
