Full Job Description
As a member of Global Technology Solutions (GTS) - Architecture & AI Enablement, you will serve as the embedded Business Technology Partner for Global Procurement & Supply Chain. Working alongside Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance leaders, you will identify opportunities to improve sourcing, supplier management, inventory visibility, purchasing, planning, and operational decision-making.

This is an embedded business role-not a traditional software development position. Success is measured by your ability to improve business processes, strengthen procurement data quality, evaluate emerging technologies, responsibly apply AI, and rapidly validate ideas that create measurable operational value.

You will work closely with Enterprise Technology (GTS) to ensure local innovations align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, governance, data strategy, and long-term platform roadmaps.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the embedded Business Technology Partner for Global Procurement & Supply Chain.
  • Develop trusted relationships with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance leaders.
  • Champion procurement process improvement and continuous operational innovation.
  • Champion procurement and supplier data quality including supplier master data, sourcing, inventory, purchasing, contracts, spend, and operational reporting.
  • Evaluate, prototype, validate, and iterate business improvements using the most appropriate technologies.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs before business adoption.
  • Champion and support effective use of procurement technologies, ERP capabilities, analytics, and AI-enabled business processes.
  • Facilitate a Procurement Technology & Continuous Improvement working group to prioritize business improvements and encourage adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Technology to align solutions with architecture, governance, security, and platform strategy.
  • Recognize when local improvements should transition into enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience solving business problems through technology.
  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related business functions.
  • 2+ years of experience improving business processes, operational workflows, or data quality.
  • 2+ years of experience working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve business problems through technology.
  • Strong understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain operations or the ability to quickly learn complex manufacturing business processes.
  • Experience improving operational processes and data quality.
  • Experience evaluating and responsibly applying AI technologies.
