The Business Technology Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of business technology solutions that support organizational operations at the Health Information Exchange Authority (HIEA). This position manages business application platforms, including user access, licensing, subscriptions, solution configuration, documentation, and training to ensure technology solutions effectively support business processes.

Working collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders, the Business Technology Administrator identifies opportunities to optimize technology, implements enhancements, develops and maintains documentation, and provides training and guidance that promotes effective adoption and consistent use of enterprise platforms. This role serves as the organization's subject matter expert for assigned business technology solutions and plays a key role in driving technology adoption, standardization, and continuous process improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Technology Administration
• Administer business technology platforms for the HIEA, including Salesforce, Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, SAS Viya, and other assigned applications.
• Manage user accounts, security roles, permissions, licensing, and software subscriptions, as applicable.
• Configure and maintain workflows, forms, dashboards, templates, automations, reports, and other platform features.
• Monitor system utilization and recommend improvements to maximize platform value.
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned to support evolving business and technology needs.

Solution Development and Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Configure and enhance technology applications to support evolving business processes.
• Evaluate new platform capabilities and implement enhancements that improve functionality and user experience.
• Develop and maintain standard processes, templates, naming conventions, and configuration best practices.

Documentation and Knowledge Management
• Develop, maintain, and update technical and operational documentation, including standard operating procedures, user guides, workflow documentation, process maps, knowledge base articles, and configuration documentation.
• Ensure documentation accurately reflects current business processes and system configurations.
• Maintain organized, accessible documentation that supports knowledge sharing and business continuity.

Training and User Support
• Develop and deliver training programs for technology solutions and the business processes they support.
• Create training materials, job aids, quick reference guides, and other instructional resources.
• Provide consultation and ongoing support to users regarding system capabilities, best practices, and process improvements.
• Communicate system updates, enhancements, and process changes to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Customer Service
• Build strong relationships with business teams to understand operational challenges and technology needs.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Provide responsive, high-quality customer service while promoting effective use of enterprise technology.

Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience

Administration of enterprise SaaS applications, including platforms like Salesforce, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, Microsoft 365, and SAS Viya - Required - 5 Years

Configuration of workflows, forms, dashboards, reports, automations, permissions, and other system components. - Required - 5 Years
