Business Systems Software Engineer II

What will you do?
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance both legacy and modern Line-of-Business applications.
• Partner directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, set expectations, and communicate progress clearly and transparently.
• Break down complex business needs into actionable tasks-some for you, some for teammates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve unknown or unexpected technical issues with minimal supervision.
• Support Tier 1 Helpdesk by providing application-specific knowledge and guidance.

What will make you a successful candidate?

• 4+ years building, maintaining, or extending business-critical tools and applications.
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or STEM) or 2 additional years of relevant experience.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow through on commitments reliably.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in an environment with shifting priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with .NET (Blazor, MVC), PHP, JavaScript, and MS SQL / T-SQL.
• Background with BI systems and ETL workflows.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Infor or Oracle.

• Familiarity with manufacturing environments (aerospace experience is a bonus).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).

Schedule & Expectations

  • Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift
  • Occasional overtime, after-hours, or weekend work may be needed-we support the systems we build.
