THE POSITION

STACK is seeking a highly capable Business Systems Manager - Workday to join our growing Enterprise Applications team. This role is ideal for a technically strong Workday professional who thrives at the intersection of systems administration, integrations, process improvement, and business partnership.

The ideal candidate combines deep Workday expertise with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively across HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and third-party vendors. This individual should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day support responsibilities, and driving continuous improvement across the Workday ecosystem.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own the overall strategy, governance, administration, and optimization of the Workday platform and related HR technologies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors regarding Workday initiatives and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain the Workday roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, releases, integrations, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Workday configuration, testing, deployment, and change management activities across all supported modules.
  • Establish and maintain governance processes for security, data quality, compliance, reporting, and system administration.
  • Oversee Workday support operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective management of service requests.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Manage Workday releases, feature adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize platform value.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving HR systems, integrations, data migration, acquisitions, and organizational changes.
  • Develop reporting and analytics capabilities that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Manage relationships with Workday, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, governance standards, and training materials.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to analysts, administrators, and business stakeholders on Workday best practices.


THE DETAILS
  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Travel: Less than 10%
  • Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening


MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of Workday administration, configuration, or HRIS experience.
  • 2+ years leading Workday projects, programs, or system ownership responsibilities.
  • Experience developing system roadmaps and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, reporting, integrations, and data governance.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating third-party support resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across business and technical teams.
  • Workday Certification(s) strongly preferred.
