Responsibilities

Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Value Chain Transformation Owner - Drive

In this role, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of global and local value chain digitalization strategies within the Drives Product Division in the United States. You will help drive business process harmonization, simplification, and alignment across upstream and downstream operations.

As a key partner between business and IT teams, you will ensure business applications are fit for purpose and that key users are effectively trained and supported. Your primary focus will be implementing and enhancing digital solutions that enable efficient SCM processes.

The work model for the role is: Onsite, in New Berlin, WI supporting the Motion Drive Products Division.

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Support global and local digital transformation initiatives by executing assigned projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify value stream improvement opportunities and translate business requirements into Information Systems (IS) solution requirements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and cutover activities for new implementations and enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, key users, and internal/external IS delivery teams to ensure reliable and scalable application solutions.
  • Manage assigned projects in accordance with ABB project management standards and governance processes.
  • Serve as the process lead for SCM system solution strategy and continuous improvements; ensure ERP and non-ERP systems effectively enable business operations and end-to-end process efficiency.
  • Partner with functional stakeholders and users to identify process or system gaps, prioritize improvement initiatives, and drive solutions through implementation.
  • Support user training, adoption, and ongoing optimization of digital tools and business applications.

Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years working with SAP or similar enterprise business applications.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or ERP implementation projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and global teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
