Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of ERP systems and supporting technology tools

  • Partner with Operations Manager to align improvement initiatives with business objectives
  • Identify and recommend improvement opportunities with expected outcomes and ROI
  • Coach and mentor Managers and Supervisors in Lean tools and methodologies
  • Facilitate Lean events and structured problem-solving initiatives
  • Manage project scope, risks, timelines, and resources across various initiatives
  • Track and report on improvement results for sustainability and benefits realization
  • Develop standard work, processes, and frameworks for operational consistency

Full Job Description
The Business Systems, Continuous Improvement Project Manager is responsible for leading the selection, implementation, and optimization of ERP and business systems, while embedding Lean and continuous improvement practices across the Remanufacturing Facility.

This role has a strong 2-year focus on ERP and technology tool selection and implementation, working closely with Operations and cross functional teams to ensure systems are aligned with operational needs and support long-term business success.

Work Location:Acheson, AB
Salary:$110,000 - $120,000 per annum
Work Arrangement:Fixed on site - working from the office or customer site each day
Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Lead the evaluation,selection, and implementation of ERP systems and supporting technology tools to improve operational performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and industry best practices
  • Partner with the Operations Manager, Reman, to align improvement initiatives with operational strategy and business objectives
  • Identify, prioritize, and recommend improvement opportunities, including expected outcomes and return on investment
  • Coach and mentor Managers and Supervisors in Lean tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and business systems adoption
  • Lead andfacilitateLean events, improvement workshops, and structuredproblem-solvinginitiatives
  • Provide project management leadership across multiple initiatives, managing scope, risks, timelines, and resources
  • Track, measure, and report improvement results to ensure sustainability and benefits realization
  • Develop and support standard work, processes, and frameworks that promote operational consistency and efficiency
  • Ensure all initiativescomply withSMS Equipment's health, safety, and environmental policies

  • 5-7+ years of experience in business systems, continuous improvement, or Lean manufacturing

  • 2+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience leading ERP or major business systems implementations
  • Strong project management, analytical, andproblem-solvingskills
  • Ability to leadcross functionalteams and influence change in an operational environment
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, cost control, quality, and safety


Assets:

  • University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • PMP designation
