Responsibilities

  • Gather, review, and analyze client requirements
  • Conduct gap analysis against Moody's solutions

  • Assist clients during testing phases including unit, integration, and UAT
  • Liaise with product managers regarding enhancement requests and defects
  • Contribute to internal knowledge management by updating entries and developing best practices

Full Job Description
The role comprises:
• Gather, review and analyze client requirements
• Conduct Gap Analysis against Moody's solutions
• Data Interfaces specification:Data analysis and mapping from client internal systems to the Moody's Analytics data warehouse
• Solution configuration and deployment
• Provide assistance to client testing (unitary, integration, UAT)
• Liaise with our Product Managers when necessary (product enhancement requests, defects, etc)
• Utilize our tracking systems (issues, timesheet)
• Contributing to internal knowledge management systems by updating existing entries and developing best practices and FAQs
• Working closely with other groups such as Pre-sales and Education, be an internal reference point advice and issues.

Qualifications:
• A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required
• Good knowledge of finance and financial instruments, finance degree or experience is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience with either a software developer, consulting firm or systems integrator working on software implementation projects.
• Hands on technical skills, in particular on databases (Oracle preferred)
• Good command of SQL and PL/SQL
• Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas within Moody's
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work pro-actively, multi-task and able to work using own initiative
• Excellent planning, organisational, implementation and follow-up skills required.
• Second major European language a strong advantage (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Position will require significant travel.
