Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for observing, analyzing, and improving internal procedures in such a way that saves time and/or decreases the margin for error. The Business Systems Analyst will support in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of various solutions developed for our clients and internal initiatives. The successful candidate will become a key member of our growing team.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of all Information Systems used by Payright, which includes but is not limited to: Payroll, Time & Attendance, HCM and CRM software
  • Ability to design, implement, and train internal personnel on any new procedures for the above Information Systems
  • Javascript, HTML, and CSS knowledge, as well as the ability to adapt to any other languages that may become relevant
  • Database knowledge sufficient for constructing complex queries in SQL or similar
  • Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for procedural improvement, while balancing requests from internal personnel
  • Ability to deliver quality work in a timely fashion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and take a proactive approach to completing work.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Curious and driven - these are key for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Thorough, organized, and innovative.
  • Kronos Workforce Ready experience is a plus.
  • Power BI exposure is a plus.
  • Salesforce exposure is a plus

Essential Functions
  • Initiate and drive projects that will improve current procedures
  • Train relevant internal personnel on any new procedures
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of all Information Systems used by Payright
  • Work with Operations to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with Management on developing additional services to offer clients
  • Create new or customize existing reports in the payroll software as needed
  • Create quality solutions using Javascript/jQuery, HTML, PHP, CSS, Google Drive, etc.
  • Developing and creating API conections and tools
  • Work closely with team members and users to problem solve issues as they arise

Education
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with cloud-based software
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Certification as an FPC is a plus
