Position Details

What You Will Do
  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and walkthroughs with business and technology stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, data mapping documents, and acceptance criteria/use cases
  • Support PolicyCenter enhancements, integrations, cloud migration readiness, remediation activities, and production support initiatives
  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps, assess impacts, and recommend practical solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Work closely with product owners, development teams, QA, architecture, and business SMEs to ensure requirements are understood and delivered as intended
  • Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and release planning activities
  • Assist QA teams with test scenario review, test case validation, UAT coordination, defect triage, and business sign-off activities
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and requirement changes, ensuring timely escalation and clear communication with stakeholders
  • Prepare clear documentation, status updates, presentations, and leadership-ready summaries as required

Who You Are
  • 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on Guidewire-related work for at least 5 years
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, or production support
  • Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance processes, including policy lifecycle, underwriting, rating, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and related downstream impacts
  • Experience creating business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process maps, data mapping documents, and traceability documentation
  • Strong experience working in Agile delivery environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, QA, architects, vendors, and support teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting testing activities, UAT, defect management, and production validation
  • Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter or Insurance Suite Analyst preferred
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations, cloud migration readiness, archive/purging, or remediation initiatives preferred
  • Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data mapping, payment platforms, document generation, or downstream insurance systems preferred
  • Experience with rating, pricing, forms, underwriting rules, transactions, renewals, cancellations, or policy servicing preferred
  • Experience preparing executive-level updates, dashboards, delivery summaries, and governance documentation preferred
