OverviewCVP seeks a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support a key federal client engagement. Our mission is to architect, build, and support innovative federal IT systems which focus on optimizing government programs and outcomes. This individual will work closely with client stakeholders and a fellow developer to build out new system modules, develop reports, and drive continuous enhancements that better serve the client's needs.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of consulting and technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn complex systems, accurately capture client requirements, and deliver effective solutions in a collaborative two-person development environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with client stakeholders to capture requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions
- Design and develop new system modules and enhancements within the Power Platform
- Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve system bugs and issues to minimize client disruption
- Collaborate closely with a fellow developer to prioritize and execute client-driven work
- Utilize Jira and Kanban boards to track progress and communicate updates during bi-weekly client meetings
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client's system, back-end data structures, and workflows
- Maintain documentation for system processes, workflows, and reporting solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in a business analyst, systems analyst, or Power Platform development role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint
- Experience with Power BI Report Builder, including building and maintaining reports and dashboards
- Strong consulting and client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, workflows, and client environments
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Jira and Kanban methodologies
- Federal or government IT experience is a plus
