Job SummaryThe Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, support, implementation, and advanced technical programming support of the CRM Slate, third-party applications, and third-party integrations, as well as project management. This role leads medium-sized software development projects, analyzes functional requirements, builds prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions within Slate, supports third-party applications, coordinates with vendors to resolve integration issues, and creates and maintains technical and process documentation. The analyst works under the guidance of senior personnel and reports to a Director or designated administrator.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience analyzing functional requirements and performing gap analysis between business processes and proposed solutions
- Experience with SQL and modern development tools
- Experience building prototypes/models
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently and manage workload to meet project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and organize complex technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with CRM solutions
- Experience with integrations
- Experience supporting third-party application and associated integrations
- Previous experience in higher education
- Project management experience or familiarity with project management methodologies
