Compensation: US: $115,000-$135,000 + benefits + bonus potential; Canada: CAD 115,000-135,000 + benefits + bonus potential
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. A more specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. The Business Process Owner & SAP SME is accountable for managing procurement related business processes while serving as the subject matter expert for SAP-enabled process execution, reporting and digital enablement. This role provides advanced expertise across process governance, systems enablement, data and reporting, and continuous improvement to strengthen operational consistency, visibility, and business outcomes across the procurement organization.
The role defines and governs end-to-end processes, translates business requirements into scalable solutions, and enables effective use of SAP and related technologies to support planning, sourcing, transactional execution and performance reporting. It ensures strong process discipline, data integrity and automation, digital adoption, and continuous improvement.
The incumbent leads cross-functional initiatives and develops team capability aligned to supply chain technical competencies, applying systems thinking, structured problem-solving, and strategic insight to deliver measurable business outcomes.
About This Role and About You
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement Excellence 80%
• In alignment with the Sr. Procurement CoE Leader, set and execute strategic priorities for business process ownership, SAP enablement, data governance, performance management and continuous improvement
• Establish and govern process documentation, procedures, and control artifacts to ensure consistency, audit readiness and sustained discipline
• Execute structured continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce cost and improve service levels
• Lead current-state assessments and future-state design
• Translate business requirements into scalable process and system solutions, balancing efficiency, control and user experience
• Serve as SAP SME for procurement processes, providing insight on system capabilities, master data dependencies, and issue resolution
• Establish reporting requirements and performance visibility across the organization
• Develop spend reporting, analytics and dashboards to support decision-making
• Monitor and report on procurement KPIs
• Use data insights to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Govern procurement data including supplier, material and service master data
• Enable digital capabilities including automation, advanced analytics and AI where applicable
• Lead complex cross-functional projects including requirements, design, testing, implementation and stabilization
• Develop and execute change management and training plans to enable adoption
Lead People 20%
• Exemplify strong leadership qualities by inspiring and guiding team members through effective communication, collaboration and the ability to influence positive outcomes

• Set clear performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, provide feedback and address performance issues – develop performance improvement plans when necessary
• Identify training needs and support employees in acquiring new skills and knowledge to enhance their job performance and career growth
