Job Description

The Business Process Lead, Procurement & Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and managing Lifecycle Services (LCS) delivery processes related to Procurement and Manufacturing (inclusive of business systems, business processes, and the client team personas that utilize them in support of LCS engagements)

This role acts as the Process owner for the delivery-related aspects of Procurement & Manufacturing which may be utilized in LCS project, contract, or transactional engagements. It involves continuously seeking improvements and streamlining processes, plus advising on any enhancements or change requests made both by current LCS users and external departments.

The role requires the ability to act as a liaison between LCS Delivery Teams and ISC (Integrated Supply Chain), including coordination and collaboration with other LCS Delivery Excellence roles intersecting with Procurement & Manufacturing in our LCS Regional organizations.

You will report to the Director, Lifecycle Services Business Processes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Aside from day to day support and improvement efforts related to the current state ecosystem (PERFORM), the Business Process Lead will also be participating in (or leading) transformation initiatives aimed at broader future state enhancements and adoption of new processes or technologies (TRANSFORM), including identifying and implementing AI-enabled use cases where applicable)
  • Coordinating with other subject matter experts, the Business Process Lead, Procurement & Manufacturing, should understand, document, and maintain LCS business process documents and workflows related to delivery aspects of Procurement & Manufacturing.
  • The Business Process Lead shall also coordinate with other LCS and ISC partners to identify relevant KPI (Key Performance Indicators) allowing business to better measure effectiveness of delivery operations related to Procurement & Manufacturing, and to identify opportunities for improvement based on data-driven analysis.
  • For the TRANSFORM duties mentioned above for this role, a major emphasis in FY26 and beyond will include:
    • Participating as LCS representative on ISC-led effort for shift of RA Manufacturing plants from IFS 7.5
    • Participating as Stakeholder Team member on Project Hive (implementation of IFS Cloud) for LCS
    • Actively partnering with ISC-led Project Hive Workstream for Procurement Processes, to identify opportunities for enhancing interface between IFS Cloud and SAP-ECC (for better materials/manufacturing visibility) and also defining plan to replace current PnP (Production & Planning) Sharepoint site, where manual entries on manufacturing info and milestones are recorded, to instead be entered into tailored page within IFS Cloud, where automated workflows can flag issues and ensure timely notifications for LCS delivery teams
    • Participating in broader RA Enterprise discussions and initiatives (partnering with IT, Enterprise Architecture, ISC, and others) to fully understand current state ecosystem and also participate in future state planning or technology assessments, for future roadmap planning (and representing the needs of the LCS delivery teams in such discussions, and ensuring relevant information is passed back to LCS stakeholders)

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Experience in identifying opportunities for improvement related to procurement and manufacturing, and improving production efficiencies
  • Experience and skills related to direct and indirect product/services procurement (internal product and 3rd party product) used for customer facing project delivery engagements
  • A clear understanding (either from direct or indirect experience) of the business needs and requirements of Project Managers and the data, experience, use cases and outcomes that they need related to Materials Management
