Job Title Business Process Engineer Location Virginia Beach, VA, US Organization Name Program Support Office Work Schedule and Other Information HRSD is seeking a Business Process Engineer (formal working title: CIP Support Manager). This position, located within the newly established Program Support Office, will operate on a hybrid schedule based out of the 1434 Air Rail Avenue office. Brief Description Under broad guidance, the Business Process Engineer leads the development of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and facilitates the interdepartmental CIP committee to guide project evaluation, prioritization, and recommendations for inclusion in the CIP. The Business Process Engineer also develops program metrics and project implementation policies and provides consolidated reporting to assist program leadership in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Job Requirements
Education
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field from an accredited university
Desired
• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or related field from an accredited university
Experience
Required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital project planning and project management roles, preferably in engineering, construction, or public utilities management
• Strong background in capital project planning, cash flow analysis, and performance monitoring
Desired
• Experience with business case evaluations
Licenses and Certifications Requirements
Required
• Valid Virginia Driver's License
Desired
• Virginia Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI
