Job Title: Business Process Analyst
Job Description
The Business Process Analyst designs, documents, and optimizes end-to-end business processes with a strong focus on ERP-related workflows. This role owns the intake and initial prioritization of ERP change requests and critical incidents, ensures structured evaluation before execution, and aligns cross-functional stakeholders around process standards and improvements.
Responsibilities
  • Design and own end-to-end business processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Define and document clear, comprehensive business requirements for process changes and system enhancements.
  • Create, maintain, and improve process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow standards.
  • Own the intake process and initial prioritization of ERP change requests and related critical incidents.
  • Drive structured evaluation of proposed changes before execution, including best practice research, presentation of options and alternatives, and capability verification with vendors.
  • Lead process design for best practices and change requests, translating business needs into effective process solutions.
  • Strengthen and maintain existing process documentation and operating definitions to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Review, qualify, and enhance existing SOPs, and develop new SOPs where needed to support evolving processes.
  • Conduct ERP assessment and process gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on process changes and system impacts.
  • Communicate system changes and process updates clearly to impacted audiences, ensuring understanding and adoption.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in business process analysis and process improvement, with responsibility for end-to-end process design.
  • Strong background working with ERP systems, including change requests, incident intake, and impact assessment.
