Duties

Help

The Insights and Data Solutions Division is responsible for directing a program that involves advising on, planning, developing, and evaluating vital business intelligence, artificial intelligence, visual analytics, and multi-domain participant data management program and policy initiatives related to EXIM's loan, loan guarantee, and insurance programs for EXIM.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as an intermediate-level technical specialist on key EXIM participant and application databases and data integrity issues associated with each including: a) establishing procedures to pursue inquiries and corrections to data; b) designing processes for collecting, aggregating, matching, consolidating, quality-assuring, persisting and distributing master data throughout the agency; c) coordinating with financial, business, and operational units in translation and implementation of requirements that support enhanced analytics; and d) managing master record creation, schema mapping, data enrichment, hierarchy management, and business semantics management processes.
  • Interprets moderately complex policies and guidance for the effective management of program implementation through analysis and synthesis of data derived from loans, loan guarantees, and insurance for the purpose of improving delivery of products to US Exporters. Independently analyzes and executes policies and guidance on topics related to the enterprise-wide participant data management portfolio.
  • Collaborates with team, colleagues, other managers, other subject matter experts, and key contractors across the organization to identify and authoritatively resolve gaps in data collection and issues with data quality/reliability, as well as to incorporate the data into new, mission relevant performance measures, or to improve on existing performance measures so as to ensure their continued relevance to EXIM programmatic, technical, financial, and/or administrative goals and objectives

Qualifications

Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work):

GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:

  • Experience developing, implementing, and executing data management and reporting processes, using master data management tools (e.g., Informatica MDM Data Director or similar), business intelligence tools (e.g., Oracle BI, Power BI, Tableau, or similar), and/or automation tools (e.g., Power Platform, robotic process automation (RPA), or similar);
  • Experience developing data standards and implementing measures for the assessment and improvement of existing data management processes, policies, and systems; AND
  • Experience working collaboratively with other internal or external data partners (IT, business users, etc.).


Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12 grade level.
