Position Overview
The Business Operations Program Analyst serves as a strategic partner to the Business Operations leadership team, responsible for evaluating operational performance across multiple functions, identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to support business decisions.
This role works across a diverse portfolio of operational programs and business functions, using existing data, reporting, and operational information to assess organizational performance, identify areas requiring leadership attention, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly analytical, and able to connect information across teams to develop meaningful insights that drive better business outcomes.
This role will be based in: Denver, CO or Ashburn, VA and is in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).
Essential Job Functions
Business Performance Analysis
- Analyze operational performance across multiple Business Operations programs and functions.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps impacting business objectives.
- Interpret data from operational systems, reports, audits, reviews, and stakeholder feedback to develop meaningful business insights.
- Evaluate organizational performance and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability.
- Prepare executive summaries, business reviews, and leadership briefings.
Strategic Decision Support
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Assess the impact of operational initiatives, process changes, and business programs.
- Identify emerging issues and opportunities before they become significant business challenges.
- Support prioritization efforts by helping leaders understand operational impacts, risks, and potential outcomes.
- Assist with business cases and operational assessments to support investment and improvement decisions.
Operational Oversight & Governance
- Monitor operational performance and program health across Business Operations.
- Evaluate adherence to business objectives, standards, and operational expectations.
- Identify recurring issues, process breakdowns, and areas requiring additional oversight.
- Support leadership with performance reviews, governance discussions, and operational assessments.
- Promote a culture of accountability through fact-based analysis and performance visibility.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, operational outcomes, and customer experience.
- Analyze root causes of recurring challenges and recommend corrective actions.
- Support process improvement and transformation initiatives through research, analysis, and outcome tracking.
- Measure and communicate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with leaders across Business Operations to understand business priorities and performance objectives.
- Facilitate discussions around trends, risks, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations to both operational and executive audiences.
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, operational performance, strategy, consulting, program management, or a related discipline.
- Experience analyzing business performance and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience supporting leadership teams with decision-making and strategic planning.
- Experience working across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
Skills

Additional Details
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
