What You Will Do:This Business Operations and Data Analyst will partner closely with national security clients and stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and support day to day account operations - including resolving data related questions and issues.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate efforts across multiple offices to streamline business processes, identify pain points, and help teams adopt more efficient, reliable ways of working.
- Leverage data and AI enabled tools (SQL, Tableau, PowerApps, Salesforce CRM, etc.) to support account operations, organize information, and improve visibility for client teams.
- Help clients strengthen their data practices by assisting with validation, quality checks, documentation, and consistent operational standards.
- Translate leadership and client questions into practical analytical approaches that inform business decisions and highlight relevant trends.
- Prepare clear summaries, reports, and supporting documentation that enable clients and leadership to make timely, informed decisions.
- Guide non-technical audiences on how to use their organization's data effectively to respond to fast turn requests and operational needs.
What You Will Need:- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- FIVE (5) years of operations, requirements gathering, data analysis or database management experience.
- Demonstrated experience using SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to support data analysis, database management, and reporting.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and common data tools to organize, analyze, and structure information.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Experience supporting federal government, defense, intelligence, or national security clients.
- Familiarity with data governance or data management concepts.
- Experience with Agile or Jira to support team workflows.
- Prior exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM-based platforms.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve data related issues.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast paced account environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
