Role Summary

The BusinessMarketing Manager for the Valves Division leads the strategy, development, and analysis of marketing programs for a $1.5B+ division, helping bring to life and reinforce Flowserve's mission of empowering critical industries with extraordinary solutions. This role serves as a strategic partner to business and sales leaders, translating business priorities into marketing programs that strengthen Flowserve's brand, support growth, and improve customer engagement. This individual reports directly to the Head of Marketing and serves as a voice of business marketing on the Marketing Leadership Team (LT).

Responsibilities
  • Business Marketing Strategy:
    • Serve as the primary marketing partner to a $1.5B+ division, leading the marketing strategy for key business initiatives
    • Translate business priorities into marketing programs that drive measurable business growth and strengthen Flowserve's brand
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration:
    • Collaborate with business and sales leaders to support key initiatives with programs including industry and product campaigns, launches, M&A activities, and events
    • Partners with portfolio marketing, events, digital, demand generation, creative, and other adjacent functions for execution
  • Prioritization and Stakeholder Alignment:
    • Ensure alignment between product strategy, commercial priorities, marketing programs, and customer needs
    • Keep effort focused on delivering highest priority and impact wins in a dynamic business environment
  • Measurement and Business Impact
    • Connect marketing activities to business KPIs and demonstrate full funnel impact
    • Use data and insights to optimize programs, improve engagement, and support commercial outcomes
  • Marketing Function Leadership:
    • Serve as a key voice on the Marketing LT in advancing the marketing function at Flowserve to maximize business growth and improve the customer experience

Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing in energy, industrial, or technology industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical features into customer value
  • Experience with a variety of Marketing channels and programs including web, advertising, demand generation, social media, content marketing, events and research
  • Ability to prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under firm deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders in a variety of functions
  • Experience influencing senior business and sales stakeholders
