Business Manager, Marketing and Centralized Operations

The Business Manager serves as the strategic integrator and accountability partner to the Vice President, Centralized Operations and Customer Experience. This role ensures that Marketing, Centralized Operations, and adjacent business functions are aligned to shared goals, metrics, and performance standards established by executive leadership.

The Business Manager provides visibility, coordination, and performance oversight across departments. Ensuring priorities remain aligned, execution stays on track, and outcomes are measured against defined KPIs. This role works closely with department leads, administrative partners, and operational teams to ensure consistency, accountability, and progress toward company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic partner and extension of the VP/SVP, supporting execution of vision and reinforcing alignment across Marketing and Centralized Operations teams.
  • Operates as an integration point across Marketing, Centralized Operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives, workflows, reporting, and operating procedures remain aligned with overall business objectives and leadership vision.
  • Help translate executive priorities into measurable goals, performance expectations, and operating rhythms across departments.
  • Provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and misalignment impacting VP/SVP-led initiatives.
  • Compile performance data, trends, and insights into clear, decision-ready summaries for executive review.
  • Support executive planning through preparation of presentations, reports, communications, and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, agendas, follow-ups, and leadership workflows as needed.
  • Maintain feedback loops between Marketing, Centralized Operations, and cross-functional teams to align demand strategy with operational readiness and performance realities.
  • Support evaluation of new initiatives, campaigns, and process changes against agreed KPIs, metrics, and business impact.
  • Serve as a point of clarification or escalation when priorities, processes, or execution become misaligned between Marketing and Centralized Operations.
  • Support onboarding coordination for new team members by ensuring tools, access, and processes align with departmental standards.

Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years of experience in multifamily operations, marketing, asset management, revenue management, or business operations.
    • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with senior leadership.
    • Strong understanding of KPIs, performance management, and portfolio-level reporting.
    • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience supporting executive leadership in a strategic or business management capacity.
    • Exposure to multifamily marketing, centralized operations, or portfolio performance functions.
    • Experience with new property activations or lease-ups.
