Business Manager - CR&A, Credit Enablement and Operations
As a Chief of Staff Project Manager on the Credit Enablement and Operations team, you will be responsible for shaping the internal management operations and providing organizational leverage to senior leadership. This is a high visibility role that will be instrumental in maximizing the overall impact and effectiveness of the CR&A organization. The CoS Project Manager will play a key role in the design and well-managed execution of:
General Responsibilities:
- Annual strategic planning
- Coordinating preparation cycles for key leadership ceremonies, including: Town Halls, quarterly regulatory reviews, and executive leadership forums
- Stakeholder engagement and transparency strategy/ agenda to ensure well-orchestrated delivery of key strategic priorities
- Lead or support other special projects as they arise, based on business needs

- Ability to influence and drive critical decisions from business partners and Commercial senior leadership
- Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
- Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. They should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of project management, process management, or event management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in operational, or project management office (PMO) environments
- 2+ years of experience with direct senior or executive leadership interaction and support
- 2+ years of experience in Consulting or other project-based strategy or transformation roles
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience with second-line Business Risk organizations and concepts

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
